Fighting Crime... Solving Problems

The Appleton Police Department has created a flexible organization, staffed by highly motivated and well-trained police officers. Education is valued, and all of our current sworn personnel have participated in a secondary education program.

Careful selection is a key to success in achieving the goals and objectives of the Department. Another key to success has been the Department's willingness to break from the tradition and employ innovative methods of policing. In fact, the Appleton Police Department is one of the most innovative and progressive law enforcement agencies to be found anywhere.
