Special Events

The Appleton Fire Department will participate in community events as we are able to. Events must be open to the public in order for us to attend.

When scheduling please provide the following information:

  • Event type (description of event)
  • Date/time
  • Age/age range/grade
  • Number of participants (estimated if unknown)
  • Point of contact information for the event

Please be sure that if you'd like the fire department to be a part of your event, that you give us at least two weeks of notice. We will try to accommodate as best we can, the more notice the better!

Please understand we may not be able to participate for the entirety of an event, and may need to leave early/arrive late due to emergencies and other schedule obligations.

Our standard hours of operation for public education and/or public relation events are below:

  • Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 11:30 AM & 1 PM – 4 PM
  • Saturdays: 8 AM – 12 PM
  • No Sundays
  • No Holidays

We will attend your event and share fire and/or life safety information with attendees.
