Juvenile Runaway
Missing juveniles are classified as either a runaway or missing person.
A juvenile will be considered a runaway when they meet the following criteria:

- Juvenile is age 17 or younger and is absent without the permission of the parent, guardian, legal custodian, or other person with legal authority to report them missing.
- Juvenile is voluntarily missing.
- Whereabouts of juvenile are unknown to the reporting person.
